In plain words

The burning fire is put out; the One itself has saved me.

Hold in mind that One, Nanak, who created the whole universe.

The inner fire that nothing outside could cool is finally put out — and not by your own effort: 'the One itself has saved me.' The restlessness is quenched by grace, and all that's left is to hold that One in mind.
The deeper layer

The fire of P49 — the inner burning that no external coolant could touch — is now put out: "the burning fire has been extinguished; God Himself has saved me." Note God Himself — the seeker did not put out his own fire; the One did. This completes the teaching of P49: the inward fire is quenched by the inward remedy, the Name, and that quenching is grace. The one who was burning is now cool, saved, and the response is simply to hold in mind "the One who created the universe." The whole long ache of restlessness resolves in coolness, given.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to have an inner restlessness that nothing could soothe finally, gently put out?
