When the One becomes merciful, illusion does not cling.
Millions of wrongs are wiped out by holding the One's Name in mind.
The body is made pure, bathing in the dust of the feet of the One's servants.
Mind and body grow content, finding the perfect One.
One is saved, along with his family and all his ancestors.
The Pauree completes the rescue-movement and widens it. When grace comes, "Maya does not cling" (the non-adhering of Shabad 18 — troubles slide off). Wrongs are wiped, the mind grows content (tript, satisfied — the deep contentment the whole Vaar has aimed at). And the reach extends outward: "one is saved, along with his family, and all his ancestors." One life turned truly toward the One lifts a whole lineage, backward and forward (as in Shabad 6, Gauree's 21 generations). Salvation is not sealed in the individual; it ripples through the family, through time. Your own turning warms more people than yourself.
How might one person's genuine change affect their whole family — even relatives they never meet?
