Whoever is a devotee - worship and adore that person. Get rid of your doubts and superstitions. ||6||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Brahma, the son of the lotus, and Vyaas, the son of the fish, practiced hard self-discipline and were worshipped.

Whoever is a devotee, honor that person. Let your doubts and confusions fall away.

Honor a person for their love, not for their title or rank.
The deeper layer

Honor anyone who loves the One, whoever they are and wherever they come from.

Barahm kamal put: Brahma, who in the old Hindu stories was born from a lotus. Meen bi-aasaa: Vyaas, whose mother in the old stories was born of a fish. Both came from strange, humble beginnings, and both were honored for their deep discipline. Jo jo bhagat ho-ay so poojahu: whoever is a devotee, honor that one. Bharman bharam chukaavaigo: your doubts fall away when you measure people by their love.

A Question to Sit With

What matters more about a person — what they have, or how they love?
