Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The wealth of the Lord's Naam is deep inside the heart. In the Guru's shelter, this wealth is found.

Nanak says: the One has been kind, so kind, and has blessed me. Taking away pain and poverty, the One has drawn me in to merge with the One.

The treasure you seek is already hidden deep inside your own heart.
The deeper layer

The treasure of the Naam is already inside you, and the Guru's shelter is where you find it.

Rid antar: deep in the heart. Gur sarnaa-ee: the Guru's shelter. Da-i-aa da-i-aa: kindness, kindness, said twice for its fullness. Dukh daalad bhanj: breaking pain and poverty. Samaavaigo: merged, like a drop of water into the ocean.

A Question to Sit With

What good thing might already be inside you, waiting to be noticed?
