In plain words

I worship and adore the One, the One who is in everything.

I offer my mind and body and place everything before the One. Following the Guru's teaching, wisdom is planted deep inside me.

Worship means giving your whole self, not just words.
The deeper layer

Worship means offering your whole self, mind and body, to the One.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Raamaa ram raamo pooj kareejai: worship the One who fills all things. Pooj here means loving worship.

Man tan arap: offer mind and body. Dhara-o sabh aagai: place everything before Him. It is like a child who runs up and holds out everything in their pockets to a parent, holding nothing back.

Then gurmat gi-aan darirheejai: the Guru's wisdom is planted firmly inside. Worship here means giving your whole heart.

A Question to Sit With

What does it mean to give something your whole heart, not just part?
