In that Court, where God calls for the accounts, there, you shall be saved only by meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||

In plain words

The One's servant who has good fortune written on the forehead meditates on the Naam of the One, Har, Har.

In the Court where the One asks for the account of your life, remembering the Naam is what sets you free.

The good you have kept in your heart is what carries you through hard moments.
The deeper layer

Keeping the Naam in mind is what sets you free when your life is weighed.

Dargahi ... laykhaa: the court where the One asks for an account. Think of a report card at the end of the year; it shows what you did with the time you had. Chhutai naam Dhi-aa-itha-ee: the Naam you remembered is what sets you free. Badbhaag (good fortune) is the gift of being drawn to the Naam.

A Question to Sit With

What steadies you when you have to answer for yourself?
