God, our Lord and Master, is deep within the hearts of His humble servants. They vibrate the Naam, the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

And when that very last moment comes, then the Naam is our Best Friend and Protector. ||3||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One, our Master, lives deep inside the hearts of the One's servants, and they repeat the Naam, Har, Har.
When the very last moment comes, the Naam is there as a friend and protector.
What you love and keep close stays with you, even at the very end.
The Naam you keep close becomes your friend at the very end of life.
Antee a-osar: the last moment of life. Here the Naam is saath-ee, a companion who stays and protects. Jan kai rid antar prabh: the One already lives inside the heart. The verse turns the last breath toward friendship, like holding a loved one's hand.
