In plain words

Deep in your heart, rest your mind on the True One — the One who never dies, who was always here and always will be.

Of everything you could ever collect in life, one thing is real treasure that truly counts: the Name.

Gather that. It is the one gift that lasts, and it is always welcomed home.

The one treasure worth gathering is the Name of the Undying One in your heart.
The deeper layer

Sat purakh akaal moorat — the True Being, the Undying Form — echoes the words of the Mool Mantar, resting the shabad on the One who is beyond time. Ridai dhaarahu dhian — hold this meditation in the heart. Naam nidhaan laabh... parvaan — the treasure of the Name is the one profit that is accepted, the merchandise worth gathering. This fits the project's lens on Naam as what truly lasts and carries forward. Guru Arjan signs the shabad.

A Question to Sit With

Of everything you are collecting or learning, what do you hope stays with you for life?
