The One is utterly by Himself, spotless and pure — stained by nothing. The same One who created everything will also gather it all back in. Nanak says: hold the **Naam** in your awareness always, and you'll melt into the True One naturally, with effortless ease (**sahaj**).
This last verse says the One is spotless, the One makes and ends all things, and if you remember the Name you'll blend into the True One with ease.
It names the One in two strokes. First: "aapay aap niranjan so-ee" — He alone is niranjan. Niranjan means without a smudge of soot, perfectly clean. After all the talk of fake coins, dirt and poison, here is the one thing nothing can stain. An earlier song in this raag teaches that staying close to what can't be stained helps your own stains lift away. The One is the clean spring the nectar flows from, so the sweetness is clean all the way down.
Then: "jin sirjee tin aapay go-ee" — the One who created will Himself end it. Every beginning and every ending is the One's doing, the same hukam that breathes worlds in and out. This is a quiet comfort about endings. Nothing is lost or forgotten. What the One sends out, the One draws home. A wave rises from the ocean and settles back into the same ocean. Nothing falls outside, just as the song said earlier: nothing happens outside of You.
Then the song speaks straight to you. "Naanak naam samaal sadaa tooN" — Nanak says, you, keep the Name in mind always. After all the talk of grace and the One who helps us drink, the song turns and says: and you, remember. That's the balance. Yes, it's all grace. And also, turn your cup up and do your part, which is grace flowing through you.
The promise is the word that rang all through this song: sehjay, naturally, with ease. "Sehjay sach samaavani-aa" — you will blend into the True One with ease. The nectar fell by sahj. Praise flowed by sahj. The music sounded by sahj. Now the final joining happens by sahj too. It isn't a hard climb. It's like a leaf floating gently home on a stream, back to the One you never really left.
The song says "remember the Name always" — what's a simple way you could keep something good and true quietly present through your ordinary day?
