In plain words

There is only One. Its Name is Truth. It is the Creator of all. It is fearless and full of love, beyond time, never born, shining on its own. And the One is found by the Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

O my Friend, let me stay close to You always, humble and glad as the soft dust on a well-walked path.

Nanak says: I rest in Your care, and I see You here with me right now, never far away.

To feel small before something vast can be the sweetest kind of closeness.
The deeper layer

To be the dust of Your feet is the joy of closeness and belonging. And the One is not distant: sadaa hajoor means always present, here and now. Maaroo, the raag once sung facing life's hardest hours, begins in nearness rather than fear.

A Question to Sit With

When do you feel closest to something bigger than yourself?
