ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਨਿਰੰਤਰਿ ਪੇਖੈ ॥
ahinis jot nirantar paykhai.
see the Divine Light deep within your nucleus, day and night.
ਆਨੰਦ ਰੂਪੁ ਅਨੂਪੁ ਸਰੂਪਾ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਦੇਖਾਇਆ ॥੨॥
aanand roop anoop saroopaa gur poorai daykhaa-i-aa. ||2||

Just as lightning flashes bright across a dark night,
a Light flashes deep inside you, day and night, if you look.
The One, made of bliss and impossibly beautiful, shows itself through the perfect Guru.
A light can flash inside you even in the darkest night.
The lightning (daaman) is an image of sudden inner seeing: the Light can flash even in darkness. The One is aanand roop, made of bliss, and it reveals itself through the perfect Guru.
