Sweeter Than Anything, Endless

adrist agochar naam apaaraa.
The Naam, the Name of the invisible and unfathomable Lord, is infinite.
at ras meethaa naam pi-aaraa.
The sublime essence of the Beloved Naam is utterly sweet.
naanak ka-o jug jug har jas deejai har japee-ai ant na paa-i-aa. ||5||
O Lord, please bless Nanak with Your Praise in each and every age; meditating on the Lord, I cannot find His limits.||5||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The Name of the unseen, unfathomable One is endless.

Its sweet taste is sweeter than anything.

Nanak says: let me sing its praise in every age; even lost in it, I could never find where the One ends.

The One is so vast and sweet that you can never reach its edge.
The deeper layer

Agochar, apaaraa: unfathomable and infinite. The asking to sing its praise is devotion, not begging. The lovely closing admission is that even fully immersed, one can never reach the edge of the One.

A Question to Sit With

What is something so good you never get tired of it?
