Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

Even death, which once seemed harsh, becomes gentle and quiet as a servant at their feet.
In the Sangat, a person's whole way of living grows noble, and they cross the great waters.
For a heart at peace, even death softens into something gentle.
For a heart at peace, death itself softens and grows gentle: jamkankar kaal sayvak pag taa kay, and the messenger of death sits at their feet like a servant.
In the ootam sangat, the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One — life grows noble and the great waters are crossed.
