The duality within is burnt away from within.

Taking up the five arrows of virtue, Death is killed, drawing the Bow of the Tenth Gate in the Mind's Sky. ||9||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Through the Word, a person crosses the great waters.

The split feeling of me against the world burns away from inside.

Taking up the five arrows of goodness and drawing the bow of the inner sky, the fear of death is overcome, the bravest victory of all.

The bravest victory is conquering your own fear, armed with goodness.
The deeper layer

Five arrows of virtue (panch baan) and a bow drawn in the inner sky (gagnantar dhanakh) make an inner picture: the brave conquest of the fear of death itself, armed with goodness. Dubidhaa (the split of me-against-the-world) burns away. The mind's sky is the inner space where the bow is drawn.

A Question to Sit With

What good quality feels like your strongest tool inside?
