ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥
ik-oNkaar satgur parsaad.
One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:
ਹੁਕਮੀ ਸਹਜੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਉਪਾਈ ॥
hukmee sehjay sarisat upaa-ee.
By the Hukam of His Command, He effortlessly created the Universe.
ਕਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਵੇਖੈ ਅਪਣੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥
kar kar vaykhai apnee vadi-aa-ee.
Creating the creation, He gazes upon His own greatness.
ਆਪੇ ਕਰੇ ਕਰਾਏ ਆਪੇ ਹੁਕਮੇ ਰਹਿਆ ਸਮਾਈ ਹੇ ॥੧॥
aapay karay karaa-ay aapay hukmay rahi-aa samaa-ee hay. ||1||
He Himself acts, and inspires all to act; in His Will, He pervades and permeates all. ||1||

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.
Without struggle or strain, the One breathed the whole universe into being.
And now the same One looks with quiet joy at everything that has been made.
That One is at work inside all of it, moving softly through each thing that lives.
The universe was not a struggle to make; it flowed from the One with ease.
Hukam is the flow of existence, the way things naturally are. Creation here is not a labor but an ease, like a river simply being a river. The One both acts and gently stirs all action from within.
