God Himself issues the Hukam of His Command, and beholds all.

Some are forgiven, according to their pre-ordained destiny.

Night and day, they are imbued with the Naam, and they find the True Lord. He Himself unites them in His Union. ||8||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One sets the flow of things and watches it all unfold.
Forgiveness reaches hearts in its own time.
Soaked day and night in the Name, they find the One, gathered home by the One's own hand.
Forgiveness is woven right into the flow of things.
Hukam and forgiveness together: the One both sets the flow and forgives within it. To be gathered home is the gentle end of the story.
A Question to Sit With
When has forgiveness come at just the right time?
