When what you do flows from love of the One, the burning restlessness inside settles down.
The Word cools the fever of always wanting and always comparing.
Following the Guru's teaching, you stay calm and clear inside, no longer ruled by the small anxious self.
Living from love cools the fever of always wanting more.
Antar seetal — cool and calm within. The image is temperature: haumai and trisnaa (craving) run hot, and the sabad cools them. The peace here is not numbness but a lowered inner fever.
