Forever and ever, let me sing what You are.
True One, may my heart be pleasing to You.
Nanak says, in honest prayer: give me Truth, so I may melt into Truth.
The simplest prayer is to become one with what is true.
Sach dayvhu sach samaahaa — give me truth, that I may merge in truth. A bare, tender request, with no bargaining and no boast: only the wish to become one with what is true. Here sach is the goal of a life.
A Question to Sit With
If you could ask for just one true thing, what would it be?
