Seeing the Maker in the Making

gurmukh saachai kee-aa akaaraa.
The Gurmukh realizes that the True Lord created the creation.

The Gurmukh knows that the Lord has expanded the entire expanse.
gurmukh hovai so sach boojhai sabad sachai sukh taahaa hay. ||9||
One who becomes Gurmukh, understands the True Lord. Through the True Word of the Shabad, he finds peace. ||9||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The awakened heart sees that the true One made all this.

It sees the One spread out through the whole wide creation.

Understanding this, and resting in the true Word, it finds peace.

Seeing the Maker in the making is its own kind of peace.
The deeper layer

Gurmukh saachai kee-aa akaaraa — the Gurmukh sees the whole akaar (form, creation) as the True One's doing, pasri-aa sabh paasaaraa — the One spread through the entire expanse. Seeing the Maker in the making is itself the peace.

A Question to Sit With

What in nature makes you feel the wonder of how it was all made?
