ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਏਕੋ ਸੋਈ ॥
sabh meh vartai ayko so-ee.
The One Lord is pervading and permeating amidst all.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
gur parsaadee pargat ho-ee.
By Guru's Grace, He is revealed.
ਸਭਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ਕਰੇ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਦੇਦਾ ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸੰਬਾਹਾ ਹੇ ॥੨॥
sabhnaa partipaal karay jagjeevan daydaa rijak sambaahaa hay. ||2||
The Life of the world nurtures and cherishes all, giving sustenance to all. ||2||

The One moves through everything that is.
By the Guru's grace it shows itself.
The Life of the world cares for all and quietly feeds every living thing.
The One that is everywhere also quietly feeds everyone.
Jagjeevan daydaa rijak sambaahaa — the Life of the world provides rijak, sustenance, to all. The same One that pervades everything (sabh meh vartai ayko) is also the quiet feeder of every creature. Presence and provision are one.
