ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਕੇਰਾ ॥
jee-o pind sabh hai tis kayraa.
Body and soul, all belong to Him.
ਸਚਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥
sachaa saahib thaakur mayraa.
The True Lord is my only Lord and Master.
ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਜਪੁ ਜਾਪਿ ਸਮਾਹਾ ਹੇ ॥੧੬॥੫॥੧੪॥
naanak gurbaanee har paa-i-aa har jap jaap samaahaa hay. ||16||5||14||
O Nanak, through the Word of the Guru's Bani, I have found the Lord. Chanting the Lord's Chant, I merge in Him. ||16||5||14||

Everything I am, body and breath and soul, already belongs to the One.
The True One is my only Master.
Nanak says: through the Guru's Bani I have found the One, and repeating the Naam I have melted into it.
All that I am already belongs to the One who made me.
Total belonging, the True One as sole Master, and union through the Bani.
