Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

A calm, steady heart does beautiful things without needing to show off.

Through loving devotion it finds the open gate of freedom, and as self-importance melts, it merges into the One.

Steady self-control does beautiful things quietly, without showing off.
The deeper layer

Self-mastery plus good action open the gate of freedom. The dissolving of self-conceit is the very condition of union.

A Question to Sit With

What good thing have you done that no one else noticed?
