Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

First you look honestly into your own heart, and then you can gently help others look into theirs.

Tuned to the True Name with love, your wishes fall into step with the One's.

Look honestly at your own heart before helping others look at theirs.
The deeper layer

Self-examination comes before teaching others; the order matters. Loving attunement leads to alignment with the divine Will.

A Question to Sit With

What is one honest thing you notice when you look inside?
