Sikhism·Raag Maaroo·Shabad 119
Verse 10 of 16

The True One Hidden in the Heart

ghar hee andar saachaa so-ee.
The True Lord is deep within the heart.
gurmukh virlaa boojhai ko-ee.
How rare are those who, as Gurmukh, realize this.
naam niDhaan vasi-aa ghat antar rasnaa naam Dhi-aa-idaa. ||10||
The treasure of the Naam abides deep within their hearts; they meditate on the Naam with their tongues. ||10||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The True One is hidden right inside your own heart.

Only a few turn to the Guru and notice, and the treasure of the Naam is there for anyone, ready to be remembered and spoken.

The treasure is hidden inside you, ready the moment you turn to notice.
The deeper layer

Immanence is the theme: realization is rare, but the treasure of the Name is universal, made living through remembrance on the tongue.

A Question to Sit With

What treasure might be hidden in a place you rarely look?
