Whoever the True One links to praise, that rare one turns to the Guru and understands.
Only one who deals in the nectar knows what the nectar is worth.
Some sweet truths can only be known by tasting them yourself.
Amrit kaa vaapaaree, one who deals in the nectar, knows its value by tasting, not by being told. Understanding here is experiential: it comes to the gurmukh whom grace has turned toward praise. Some things can only be known by living them.
