ਆਪਿ ਸਿਰੰਦਾ ਸਚਾ ਸੋਈ ॥
aap sirandaa sachaa so-ee.
The True Lord Himself is the Creator.
ਆਪਿ ਉਪਾਇ ਖਪਾਏ ਸੋਈ ॥
aap upaa-ay khapaa-ay so-ee.
He Himself creates and destroys.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਲਾਹੇ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਦਾ ॥੧੪॥
gurmukh hovai so sadaa salaahay mil saachay sukh paa-idaa. ||14||
One who becomes Gurmukh, praises the Lord forever. Meeting the True Lord, he finds peace. ||14||

The True One is the maker of everything.
The same One brings things forth and gathers them back, and the heart that praises it, meeting the True One, rests in peace.
The One brings all things forth and gently gathers them back.
The Creator brings forth and gathers back, in one steady cycle. Praise leads to union and peace.
