ਜੇ ਸਚੁ ਦੇਇ ਤ ਪਾਏ ਕੋਈ ॥
jay sach day-ay ta paa-ay ko-ee.
If God grants Truth, then we may attain it.
ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਪਰਗਟੁ ਹੋਈ ॥
gur parsaadee pargat ho-ee.
By Guru's Grace, it is revealed.
ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਾਲਾਹੇ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ਗੁਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਦਾ ॥੧੦॥
sach naam saalaahay rang raataa gur kirpaa tay sukh paa-idaa. ||10||
One who praises the True Name, and remains imbued with the Lord's Love, by Guru's Grace, finds peace. ||10||

If the One gives Truth, then we receive it.
By the Guru's grace it comes clear, and the heart that praises the True Name and stays soaked in love settles into peace.
Truth is a gift; when the One gives it, we receive it.
Truth is a gift, not a self-won prize; grace reveals it, and love plus praise yield an effortless peace.
