Serving the True Guru, one obtains intuitive bliss.
ਹਿਰਦੈ ਆਇ ਵੁਠਾ ਗੋਵਿੰਦਾ ॥
hirdai aa-ay vuthaa govindaa.
The Lord of the Universe comes to dwell within the heart.
ਸਹਜੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਆਪੇ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਾਇਦਾ ॥੪॥
sehjay bhagat karay din raatee aapay bhagat karaa-idaa. ||4||
He intuitively practices devotional worship day and night; God Himself practices devotional worship. ||4||

When I serve the True Guru, a quiet, natural joy rises up on its own — nothing forced, nothing strained.
The One comes to live right inside my heart. Then love flows easily, morning and night, like a song that seems to sing itself.
Joy rises on its own when you stop fighting the flow.
Sahaj anand is the effortless, natural bliss of the aligned soul. In the closing words — aapay bhagat karaaidaa — even the devotion is the One's own doing, inspired in us.
