By Guru's Grace, a rare few attain this.

naanak ayk kahai baynantee naamay naam samaa-i-aa. ||16||1||23||
Nanak offers this one prayer: through the Naam, the Name of the Lord, may I merge in the Lord. ||16||1||23||

In plain words

The Master is True, and so is the Master's greatness. By the Guru's grace, a rare few come to it.

Nanak says just one prayer: through the Naam, let me blend into the One.

Sometimes one honest prayer holds everything you want.
The deeper layer

Everything comes down to a single request: through the Naam, let me merge in the One. Grace brings a rare few to this — a humble, one-line prayer that gathers everything that came before.

A Question to Sit With

If you could offer just one honest prayer, what would it be?
