Maaroo, Third Mehl:
ਨਦਰੀ ਭਗਤਾ ਲੈਹੁ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥
nadree bhagtaa laihu milaa-ay.
By Your Grace, please unite with Your devotees.
ਭਗਤ ਸਲਾਹਨਿ ਸਦਾ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥
bhagat salaahan sadaa liv laa-ay.
Your devotees ever praise You, lovingly focusing on You.
ਤਉ ਸਰਣਾਈ ਉਬਰਹਿ ਕਰਤੇ ਆਪੇ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
ta-o sarnaa-ee ubrahi kartay aapay mayl milaa-i-aa. ||1||
In Your Sanctuary, they are saved, O Creator Lord; You unite them in Union with Yourself. ||1||

By Your grace, join me to the ones who love You. They sing Your praise always, hearts fixed on You.
In Your shelter they are kept safe, O Maker, and You draw them into oneness with You.
Being joined with those who love the One is its own kind of shelter.
A prayer comes first: by grace, join me with the devotees (bhagat). Their safety is in the saran (Sanctuary), and their end is union. To be joined with those who love the One is itself a gift of grace.
