When God grants His Grace, one meets the Perfect Guru.

The Shabad dispels the spiritual ignorance within, and through the True Guru, one finds peace. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

In the me-first feeling, the body keeps burning inside. When the One gives grace, I meet the perfect Guru.

The Guru's word clears away the inner darkness, and through the Guru I find peace.

Grace turns the restless heat of the ego into rest.
The deeper layer

Haumai is pictured as a body that keeps burning, a restless heat that does not let up. Grace brings the Perfect Guru; the Shabad dispels inner ignorance; peace follows. The movement is from heat to rest.
