Held Safe

No one can kill anyone who is saved by the Savior Lord.
so aisaa har sayvhu santahu jaa kee ootam banee hay. ||2||
So serve such a Lord, O Saints, whose Bani is exalted and sublime. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

No one can strike down the one whom the Protector keeps safe.

So serve such a One, you holy people — the One whose word is high and beautiful.

No one can strike down the one the Protector keeps safe.
The deeper layer

Raakhanhaaraa is the Protector, the Keeper. Whoever the Protector keeps, no one can strike down. Ootam banee is the exalted, beautiful Word worth serving.

A Question to Sit With
