Peace in Remembering

har har naam jinee sadaa Dhi-aa-i-aa.
Those who meditate forever on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har,
tinee gur parsaad param pad paa-i-aa.
by Guru's Grace, obtain the supreme status.
jin har sayvi-aa tin sukh paa-i-aa bin sayvaa pachhotaanee hay. ||15||
Those who serve the Lord find peace; without serving Him, they regret and repent. ||15||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Those who always meditate on the Naam reach the highest place, by the Guru's grace.

Those who serve the One find peace. Without serving, they end up full of regret.

Serving the One brings peace; leaving it out brings regret.
The deeper layer

Param pad (the supreme state) is reached gur parsaad, by the Guru's grace. Those who serve find peace; those who leave service out are left with pachhotaanee, regret. Remembrance and service bring the peace that is their own reward.
