They are intuitively absorbed in the Lord's Name.

The Lord preserves the honor of those who seek His Sanctuary; go and consult the Vedas and the Puraanas. ||9||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Those who serve the One find peace, and slip easily into the Naam.

Whoever comes for shelter, the One keeps their honor safe. Go and ask the Vedas and the Puranas.

Whoever comes to the One for shelter has their honor kept safe.
The deeper layer

Pat raakhai — the One protects the honor of whoever seeks sanctuary. Jaa-ay poochhahu vayd puraanee (go and ask the Vedas and the Puranas) calls the old scriptures as witnesses: they say it too.

A Question to Sit With

Why do you think so many different traditions say the same kind thing?
