In plain words

The Guru has shown me the One, who is beyond reach and beyond knowing.

When I wandered off, the Guru put me back on the path.

Nothing stands in the way of love for the One, for the one who serves the Guru. The Guru plants full understanding deep inside.

Even when you wander off, the Guru sets you back on the path.
The deeper layer

When you wander off the path, the Guru gently brings you back.

The One is agam agochar: beyond reach, beyond anything we can see or touch. Yet the Guru shows the One to us.

Bhoolaa maarag satgur paa-i-aa: "the True Guru puts the one who wandered back on the path." Maarag means path.

Think of a hiking trail with painted marks on the trees. If you drift off and get lost, you look for the next mark, and there it is. You are back on the trail. Nobody scolds you. The mark just points the way.

Then the verse says nothing can block bhagti, loving devotion to the One, for someone who serves the Guru. Why? Because the Guru has planted full understanding firmly inside. Wandering is met with a gentle return, not blame.

A Question to Sit With

When have you found your way back after feeling lost?
