Some are hungry and some are satisfied and satiated, but all lean on Your Support. ||3||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
You made some to sit in great royal courts.
Some leave the world behind, and some keep a home and family.
Some are hungry and some are full, but all of them lean on You.
Whatever your path, every kind of life leans on the same One.
The One makes many kinds of life: those in royal courts, those who renounce, those who keep households, the hungry and the satisfied. All of them lean on the One's support alone. No path is ranked above another; the renunciant and the householder stand side by side, each resting on the same ground.
A Question to Sit With
Whose path looks very different from yours — and how might it rest on the same ground?
