Creating Yourself, You formed the expanse of the Universe; You Yourself cherish and sustain each and every heart. ||2||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
You Yourself watch over what You have made.
You Yourself made Yourself, O One.
You made Yourself and spread out the whole wide world. You Yourself care for every heart.
The One who spread out the whole world still tends every single heart.
The One is self-aware of its creation and self-existent, resting on nothing outside itself. Yet the same One that spun out the whole expanse tends ghat ghat — each and every heart. Vast self-existence and intimate care are held together in one breath.
A Question to Sit With
What does it feel like to be watched over kindly, not judged?
