Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

Whatever I see is You, the One.

What my ears hear is Your Word, Your Bani.

There is nothing else to see at all. You hold everything up.

Everything you see is the One, wearing a thousand shapes.
The deeper layer

The Ik Onkar lens at full strength: jo deesai so ayko toohai — whatever is seen is the One. What the ears hear is the One's own Bani. There is no doojaa, no second, to be found; all of it rests on the One's support. The many shapes are one reality showing itself.

A Question to Sit With

Pick one ordinary thing near you — what if it were the One, showing up as that?
