ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਪਉ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥
gur pooray kee pa-o sarnaa-ee.

ਮੋਹੁ ਸੋਗੁ ਸਭੁ ਭਰਮੁ ਮਿਟਾਈ ॥
moh sog sabh bharam mitaa-ee.
He shall eradicate all emotional attachment, sorrow and doubt.
ਏਕੋ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਏ ਅਉਖਧੁ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦ ਗਾਇਣਾ ॥੨॥
ayko mantar drirh-aa-ay a-ukhaDh sach naam rid gaa-inaa. ||2||
He shall administer the medicine, the Mantra of the One Name. Sing the True Name within your heart. ||2||

The Guru gives you one medicine, one mantra — the true Naam — so sing it in your heart.
The Naam is the Guru's one medicine; sing it in your heart.
In the shelter of the Perfect Guru, moh, sog, and bharam — attachment, sorrow, and doubt — are cleared. The Guru places one a-ukhadh, one medicine, in you: the Name. Sing the True Name within the heart. The Name works the way medicine works: it heals.
