The One in Every Story of Rescue

DharneeDhar ees narsingh naaraa-in.
The Support of the Earth, the man-lion, the Supreme Lord God.
daarhaa agray paritham Dharaa-in.
The Protector who tears apart demons with His teeth, the Upholder of the earth.
baavan roop kee-aa tuDh kartay sabh hee saytee hai changa. ||3||
O Creator, You assumed the form of the pygmy to humble the demons; You are the Lord God of all. ||3||

In plain words

The One who holds up the whole earth, who takes shape in story after story to set the world right and to gently humble those who have grown too proud.

Every rescue tale is pointing at the same caring power.

And that power is good to all, every single one, with no one left out.

In every story where good is restored, the same kindness is at work.
The deeper layer

In every old story of rescue, the same One is at work, and that One is good to all.

Narsingh is the man-lion of the old stories. DharneeDhar, the holder of the earth, recalls the boar who lifted the world on its tusks. Baavan roop is the dwarf who humbled a proud king. The closing words, sabh hee saytee hai changa, say the One is good to every single one.

A Question to Sit With

What is a story you love where something wrong gets made right?
