I am a sacrifice to the Perfect True Guru, who has destroyed the illusion of duality. ||15||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Other than You, no one is my own.

The Guru has set my hands on the feet of the One.

I give my all to the perfect Guru, who broke apart the illusion of being cut off and separate.

The best teaching does not add something new; it removes the sense of being apart.
The deeper layer

'Khandi-aa bharam anaalkaa': the illusion of duality is shattered, and the feeling of separateness breaks, the Haumai/oneness theme. The Guru is the living teaching that joins the seeker to the One.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that helped you feel less alone or separate?
