In so many ways, He cherishes those born from eggs, from the womb, from sweat and from the earth. ||4||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One is endlessly strong, beyond words, beyond reach, and shining.

Every living thing leans on that One.

Creatures born from eggs, from the womb, from warmth, and from the earth, in a thousand different ways the One feeds and cares for them all.

The same care that holds you holds every living thing.
The deeper layer

The 'four sources of life' (andaj, jayraj, saytaj, ut-bhuj: egg, womb, sweat, earth) become a wonder-list of how many kinds of life the One cherishes. Awe and inclusivity in one image.

A Question to Sit With

What is the strangest or smallest living thing you have ever felt wonder for?
