twenty-four hours a day, keep the Lord in your mind.

In the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy, meditate and vibrate upon your imperishable Lord and Master, and you shall be honored in the Court of the Lord. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

No one ever comes away from the One with empty hands.

So through the whole day, keep the One tucked in your mind.

In the Sangat, turn toward the One who never fades, and you will be welcomed with honor in the One's court.

Turn toward the One and you never come away empty.
The deeper layer

'Birthaa ko-oo naahee' (no one returns empty-handed) is a promise of abundance: keep the One in mind through all the hours of the day.

SaaDhsang bhaj achut su-aamee: in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One — sing to the Master who never fades. The verse closes with being 'honored in the Court,' welcomed with honor where the One is.
