ਧਾਰਿ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ॥
Dhaar anoograhu su-aamee mayray.
Please shower me with Your Merciful Grace, O my Lord and Master.
ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਵਸਹਿ ਸਭਨ ਕੈ ਨੇਰੇ ॥
ghat ghat vaseh sabhan kai nayray.
You dwell in each and every heart, and are near everyone.
ਹਾਥਿ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਕਛੂਐ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਜਣਾਇਹਿ ਤਿਸੈ ਜਣਾਵਣਾ ॥੯॥
haath hamaarai kachhoo-ai naahee jis janaa-ihi tisai janaavanaa. ||9||
Nothing is in my hands; he alone knows, whom You inspire to know. ||9||

Pour Your kindness over me, my dear One.
You live inside every single heart, closer than close to everyone.
Nothing is in my hands; the one who knows is the one You help to know.
The One you look for far away is already nearer than your own breath.
'Ghat ghat vaseh sabhan kai nayray': You dwell in every heart, near to all. 'Haath hamaarai kachhoo-ai naahee': nothing is in my hands. Grace is received as a gift, with open, empty hands.
