Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Nanak says: the loaves are baked and laid out warm on the plate.

Those who live by the Guru's word eat and are completely satisfied.

Living by the Guru's word leaves you fully satisfied.
The deeper layer

The companion to the previous shalok: what was prepared is now enjoyed to the full. Living by the Guru's word turns eating into being fully satisfied.

A Question to Sit With

What makes you feel full and content, not just for a moment?
