Good destiny is inscribed on the forehead of that companion, who who enjoys the Lord, my Friend. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I see the One living inside every person; not a single one is without it.

Lucky is the heart that gets to delight in the One, my Friend.

Look closely enough at anyone and you find the same One inside.
The deeper layer

A Dakhanay shalok stating Ik Onkar plainly: the same One dwells in everybody. That vision is itself the blessing. This grounds the caste-leveling and human-honoring that runs through the Vaar.

A Question to Sit With

How might you treat people differently if you saw the One in each of them?
