Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I gladly drink the humble water that has washed the feet of those who share the teaching.

My whole being fills up with love at the thought of seeing my True One.

Getting close to wise, kind people fills you up with love.
The deeper layer

A Dakhanay shalok. Drinking the water that washed the teachers' feet is the language of deepest humility and belonging. Nearness to the wise fills the heart with love.

A Question to Sit With

Who fills you with good feelings just by being near?
