See Him within your mind; your Beloved is not far away. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Come to know the True One, my friend; only talking about it is not enough.

Look within your own mind — your Beloved is not far away at all.

The One you are looking for is nearer than your own breath.
The deeper layer

A Dakhanay shalok and a landmark of the Vaar: knowing beats merely discussing, and the One is discovered inside, near at hand. The whole search collapses into the nearest place.

A Question to Sit With

What is the difference between knowing about something and knowing it?
