man kay anDhay aap na boojhhu kaahi bujhaavahu bhaa-ee.
You are blind in your mind, and do not understand your own self; how can you make others understand, O brother?
ਮਾਇਆ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬੇਚਹੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਅਬਿਰਥਾ ਜਾਈ ॥੩॥
maa-i-aa kaaran bidi-aa baychahu janam abirathaa jaa-ee. ||3||
For the sake of Maya and money, you sell knowledge; your life is totally worthless. ||3||

If you cannot see clearly inside your own heart, how can you help others see, brother?
You sell what you know just to get money, and your life slips by for nothing.
You can only pass on what you have lived.
'Man kay anDhay' (blind in the mind) means not yet seeing clearly inside. 'Janam abirathaa jaa-ee': the life goes by wasted. What you sell but do not live cannot be passed on.
