Naarad and Vyaasa say these things; go and ask Suk Dayv as well.

Says Kabir, chanting the Lord's Name, you shall be saved; otherwise, you shall drown, brother. ||4||1||

Naarad and Vyaasa, wise ones of long ago, say this; go and ask Suk as well.
Kabir says: remember the One, and you will be set free. Otherwise, brother, you will be swept away.
All the deepest wisdom points to the same simple heart: remember the One.
Naarad, Vyaasa, and Suk Dev, revered sages of the Hindu tradition, stand as witnesses: all wisdom comes back to remembering the One. The closing 'naahi ta booday' (otherwise you drown) gives the other side of the same choice: remember the One and be set free.
A Question to Sit With
If every wise person you admire agreed on one thing, what do you think it would be?
